Desolation Bagels
On the return flight from JFK to Seattle yesterday, our carry-on luggage which originally consistied largely of fresh roasted coffee for our NYC peeps was replaced by two large sacks of New York’s best bagels from Ess-a-Bagel.

These Bagels were intended to be Victory Bagels to celebrate the end of the Bush regime with friends and cow-orkers Wednesday morning. Instead they are a grim reminder that though some enclaves of righteousness exist in this country, there are alot of lost souls out there that would still choose a stale hot dog bun over a perfectly fine bagel.

Chewing on a NY bagel would be just the medicine I need. No, hold the chream cheese, I’ll just rip it apart with my teeth. It’s more primal that way!

Nevermind my comment on your previous post. Sad that we didn’t see you! I’ve been wanting to feed you for a while, although Providence *is* a bit of a drive from NY. :)

Still drinking that coffee. Still great! (Even if not superfresh).
