My favorite mug
This morning I had a french press of the Panama Kotowa/Finca Duncan coffee in my favorite mug (a thrift store find). There is an interesting discussion of “comfort” coffee over on portafilter and this well structured, delicate, melon-sweet brew fits the bill for me today.
This Sunday at 10:30am at Victrola we will be hosting a public cupping of the different coffees from the ECAFE Ethiopian coffee auction. Though none of the coffees will be for sale, its a really amazing opportunity for us to taste some of the absolute best, most distinctive coffees in the world and we want to share it with our friends and customers. Its bound to be an intense, chaotic and fun morning of coffee slurping in the back of the shop and you’re all invited.
