Brokeback Steve
A fundraiser is afoot for my dear friend Steve, the legendary Bay Area barista who took a spill from a 3rd story window a couple weeks back and, surviving his fall, has some major medical expenses to contend with. I know a number of my readers know Steve or know him through his photography and have been looking for a way to chip in on his repair job.
Steve looking good even while feeling bad - and continuing his tradition of capturing every day’s first coffee on film.
His new cohort, the incomparable Andrew Barnett of Ecco Caffe is taking donations via paypal and Mark Prince and the denizens of CoffeeGeek are raising the call as well.
